NGABWE TOWN COUNCIL PROPOSES K78 MILLION BUDGET – 2025
Ngabwe Town Council has proposed a K78 Million budget for the 2025 Financial Year. This represents a 34 % increase from the 2024 budget.
The proposed budget is a result of extensive consultations with stakeholders and submissions from various departments within the Local Authority. Key drivers of the increased budget include:
💎 Increased Constituency Development Fund
(CDF) allocation From K30.6 million to K36.1
million per constituency.
💎 Cash for Work Programme with an allocated
of K7.9 million.
💎 Zambia Devolution Support Programme
(ZDSP) Capital Grant adjusted upwards to K8.3 Million
The Revenue Estimates for 2025 have been prepared in accordance with the Planning and Budgeting Act No. 1 of 2020.
The proposed budget was presented during 4th Ordinary Council Meeting held on 19th December 2024 and will now be submitted to the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) for approval.
