Ngabwe Town Council Secretary, Mr. Mpande Hamwende, has expressed gratitude to Habitat for Humanity Zambia for partnering with the Council in improving access to clean and safe water in the district.

Speaking when the Habitat for Humanity Zambia team paid a courtesy call on him, Mr. Hamwende said the organisation’s Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programmes were making a meaningful difference in the lives of community members.

The visiting team was in Ngabwe District to monitor on-going WASH projects being implemented in various communities. During their visit, the team also paid courtesy calls on His Royal Highness, Chief Mukubwe and the Ngabwe District Commissioner.

Habitat for Humanity Zambia continues to collaborate with local authorities and traditional leaders in advancing access to safe water and improved sanitation, contributing to better health and living standards for rural communities.
