“Through CDF, we have put up a Ix3 classroom block in Mukubwe Ward where my dearest learners were learning under a grass thatched infrastructure.
We also have water and electricity. Eleven (11) years from the time Ngabwe was declared a district, there has been no power.The road from the Harbour in Mukubwe Chiefdom which connects into Ngabwe Chiefdom was last worked on in 1978. Today, you have state of the art gravel road that can be utilized in all seasons.”
The Central Province Permanent Secretary, Milner Mwanakampwe said this when he featured on a live programme on Power FM in Kabwe.Meanwhile, Mr Mwanakampwe has disclosed thatthe Kabwe – Ngabwe – Kasempa Road will be worked on through the Public Private partnership (PPP) model.
He said this during the Kulamba Kubwalo Traditional Ceremony of the Lenje people of Central Province held on Saturday, 21st October 2023 in Chibombo District.
Ngabwe Town Council Chaiperson, Borden Kalebuka was also in attendance.
